 I say this time and time again, magick doesn’t have to be complicated to be powerful, and it certainly doesn’t have to be “insta” pretty.

I love beautiful magick, I’m a big fan of spell work being aesthetically pleasing.. but sometimes it’s as basic as crying in your pyjamas on the kitchen floor, lighting a candle and drinking a cleansing tea. 

I’m a sentimental hoarder (heavy water placements, so duh); this is 25 years worth of diaries, artwork and memory boxes full of ALL the things. Like really, if you have ever sent me a card, written me a letter or even just a note, trust me it’s in here. 

Whilst surrounded by the chaos that has been my life, it is hard for that energy not to reflect internally. There are so many versions of myself lying in wait within boxes and under diary covers, most of which I am not proud of or it hurts to recall. I spent so many years sending love and healing to those Charlies; I am proud of who I am today and for how far I have come, cause fuckkk a lot of hard and intense shadow work was required to get there. It took a lot of tears, this small ritual and the support of a good friend to remember that though. 

The purifying will continue, as it is well past time for a lot of this to go up in flames.
