This sacred endowment from the great universal source, gifted to us on this mortal plane, offers us continuous opportunities for growth. Earth is one big playground for the soul to learn, but it can be a bit much right? When beauty and danger lay side by side, how can we best balance the scales? How can we bring contradiction into the still space of compassionate understanding within? 

I feel this discovery is quite personal, as how we deal with what life throws at us is a creative reflection of who we are at our core. Through trial and error, you will find what works best for you, as the choices you make are yours and yours alone. The universal truth for us all though - the answers lie in wait at the portal of your heart. 

Cultivate an inner sanctuary around this gateway; to do this trust is vital, use it as the cement to build your temple walls. This way when the forces of nature bring you to your knees - and they will - your walls will stand strong and firm. They will absorb the mind-spinning chaos that can leave us feeling unanchored and adrift when the world around us turns upside down and inside out. 

In Native traditions the Divine is called the Great Mystery, and for good reason. Have faith in the confusion, drop your guard to misunderstanding - it is in trying to make sense of it all that you’ll hold yourself back from clarity. This world isn’t meant to be understood through the lens of logic, and the more you try to steer the ship the more your compass will spin with doubt. Surrender and succumb to a senseless world; cast aside control, flow down the nonsensical stream and see where you turn up. 

Trust the beauty of paradox is exactly as it is meant to be, this way beauty and danger don’t just lay side by side, they come into a space of loving embrace.
