THE DOOR OF WILLINGNESS ❤️

The polarity of the intense fear I stumbled through in the lead-up to my second year Vision Quest, to the gift of supreme overwhelming joy I received, perfectly encapsulates the main lesson I took away with me this year.

7 days and 7 nights up a mountain with your resources stripped back gives you such clarity and many an insight. I have so much newfound wisdom, as well as having concreted old lessons into my being in a much more stable grounded way. Toxic chains have been broken, smashed to smithereens like bone to ash. Gratitude for this life is singing from every inch of my being. The clearest lesson for me was not some grand revelation about the meaning of life, it was about how much beauty lies in simplicity. I didn’t unravel Great Mystery’s Great Mystery, after all, as the Native American saying goes - "The Great Mystery cannot be solved!"

I was granted soft realisations about enjoying this dualistic human life for exactly what it is - the whole goddamn spectrum, from the dull lacklustre shades to the bursts of bright luminous colours. Enjoy and revel in the pleasure; hold tight and ride the storms of suffering as best you can. We experience both here on this Earth, they are both necessary and needed; such opposite ends of the scale, yet so woven together in this human tapestry. Wow, life.. what a fucking glorious gift.

I will speak more about my learnings once I have fully landed and integrated them into my being. For now, I’m going to put into practice what came through to me and enjoy living life to the fullest for the remainder of my time here in beautiful sunny Spain.
