I heard the call earlier this year, the Great Mystery gently asking me to return to the mountains.

Today as I start my travels, it doesn’t feel so gentle. It feels daunting, scary and raw.

Aspects of my neurodiversity completely overloading my senses. This has been building for a couple of weeks now, and I’m imploring the peak to hit and the dust to settle. I’ve prayed for a softness that is yet to come. Sheer panic cursing through my veins, but still I keep on moving. The path offered isn’t always easy to navigate, and with each step forward I make a choice.

I have a date with Spirit, and in that I trust.
