MUGWORT SMUDGE STICKS.

I spoke of using Mugwort for smudging in my previous post. With an abundance of it growing in the hedgerows near my house, and a desire to create, I decided to make some Mugwort Smudge Sticks.

I went for a wander and collected a small bundle of Mugwort. I asked permission from the plant before I started snipping, taking just a small amount from the various spots in which it was situated. Each and every time I thanked the plant, I learnt long ago to always pick with gratitude.

This was experimental, and just involved a quick engine search of “how to make a smudge stick”. They are currently hung in my studio to dry, and here’s to hoping they serve their purpose.

Mugwort smudging purifies the space and cleanses a person's energy field, offering protection as it repels negativity and wards off evil.
