WE ARE THE MEDICINE, FESTIVAL 2024

I love liminal spaces, and that is where Medicine Festival sits - on the edge of this realm with its foot in the next. It acts as one grand container, where divine whispers and ancient memories surface, illuminating us from beyond the veil.

Drawing us in from all corners of the world to form community for just a few short days, allowing us a space to imagine what the world could be in the face of all that it is. Mother holds the ground beneath our feet, securely rooted as we open our hearts humbly to her wild wisdom.

On offer are a myriad of ways to shed your skin and be reborn. Whether aware or not, by attending you are initiated into a new way of being. Unconditional love, unwavering acceptance, flourishing creativity and deep sacred healing weave around us, unifying our human selves into the same oneness we know at source. The dead weight is lifted, and beauty and harmony unfold as we connect in the shared experiences of song, dance and ritual - learning, loving and grieving as one.

Change is inevitable for this world, and for once I don’t feel heavy dread at the thought of it. With grace the wisdom keepers gift us the opportunity to bring the old ways forward as we shift into the new. Together we are strong, together we are inspirational, together we need not fear; together is the thread we must ensure we follow.

This year, the medicine I have left with is incredible hope for the future.
