Pisces Partial Full Moon Lunar Eclipse: The Final Tide
PEAKS: 28th August 2026 | Eclipse 05.12, Full Moon 05.18 (uk)
This is the crescendo; the peak and the release point. The Eclipse Portal closes out here with a Partial Lunar Eclipse.
Why is it partial? Because it is out of sign, as the North Node is now in Aquarius. However, the Full Moon is so close it’s still part of the eclipse party.
Since the opening Solar Eclipse we’ve been thrown into a space of liminality, with little choice other than hold on for the ride. Eclipse portals are significant windows of truth and times of deep revelation, but with all the intensity, I am sure most of us will be welcoming the exit sign.
The Fates have been speaking through undeniable synchrocities. The Gods have been removing veils of illusion before our very eyes. Great Spirit has been effortlessly crafting wave upon wave, opening and closing doorways, to nudge us ever closer to the paths we should be walking.
The first half of this Eclipse Portal seemed to bulldoze its way straight through the heart, Leo South Node quite literally came in with an explosive bang. And with our foundations in rubble at our feet, past patterns and karmic imprints have been impossible to ignore. It’s been brazen and loud, but remember, that is only the beginning of that cycle.
The old one needs to complete, and karmic loops will continue to tie throughout the week until the portal closes.
There’s a lot of endings wrapped up in this Lunar Eclipse. Not only will the portal close, but it’s the release point of the New Moon in Pisces we had back in March. It is also the third and final Pisces Eclipse, so the stories that began back in September 2024 culminate here.
We’ve been dancing this dance along the Virgo-Pisces Nodal axis, and the karmic lessons from this journey are beginning to take their leave. Although the closing Virgo Eclipse is not until February 2027, Pisces parts ways with us now.
That nodal journey was very much about handing over control and criticisms, Virgo South Node wanted us to stop overanalysing all the things, all of the time. And we had the North Node in Pisces inviting us into its dreamy waters, where the imagination could run free and compassion could fill our cups. The call was to surrender, trust and grow more comfortable in the liminal space of unknowing.
A Full Moon always asks us where we need to release for the sake of transformation. An Eclipse magnifies that energy ten-fold. So you’d expect this lunation to come in screaming, but it doesn’t need to, it’s already so familiar to us it need do nothing but slowly seep in.
With the noise of the Leo spectacle fading for the moment, what's left is the quieter, deeper sound of the water. It rises to meet us - the undercurrents, the feelings - finally audible, bringing conclusive endings to the previous cycle.
This is an emotionally revealing Moon, it will purify and clarify - specifically the Pisces part of your chart.
The last thread hangs, ready to be woven into place.
The Sun illuminating this Moon is in Virgo, offering us a grounded rational lens. Hello humbling reality check. What may have been confusing before, may now start to make sense. Like a person with poor eyesight putting on their glasses, turning the blurred scene before them into focus.
La-la-liminal land held such potent wisdom though. With the hard edges dissolved, we were given a glimpse behind the scenes. A bright light was cast into the dark, making it impossible to deny what had been lurking in the shadows. And it’s only through acknowledging its presence, we’ve been able to loosen our grip and begin to detach.
Through the ebbs and flows, Pisces has been fine tuning your intuition, gifting you a greater ear for the wisdom you hold within.
Pure feeling without structure can quickly turn into overwhelm or avoidance.
Living life through your imagination can disconnect you from the truth of reality.
Too much control or responsibility can make you feel empty or burdened.
We will no longer be able to deny the areas we’ve been trying to manage, but are no longer sustainable. We are abandoning ourselves when we choose to ignore truth, and the limits of what is possible. Empathy and compassion are admirable qualities, but even these can be toxic when a line isn’t drawn.
Pisces would love to float off into the ongoing expanse of foreverness, but we need boundaries to keep us safe and grounded. This Partial Lunar Eclipse is a trigger point for us to clear distortions and barriers, whilst simultaneously creating structural blueprints to limit chaos. Pisces may have its head in the clouds, but Virgo is the rope anchoring us back down to earth. We are dissolving into the middle ground, of being endless ethereal souls in finite human form.
The acceptance of this paradox gifts us much greater balance. And with Uranus square aspects on the same day, this will help us stay more stable with whatever shocking revelations arrive. Expect the unexpected: news headlines, nuggets of inner knowing, confessions of the soul.
Emotions may run high and illusions are likely to shatter, but there is deep healing here. Not everything will crumble, somethings will stick, but some were delusions all along. If it feels heavier than it used to, lighten the load now.
You will know in your feels what you need to release, where you need to forgive, and where better boundaries are required - it will be undeniable.
Honestly look at what has changed, welcome in any final grand reveals, and prepare for this book to close.
And remember an ending is nothing more than a beginning.
Reality will really begin to shift from here.
Eclipse Portals are intense, but this one closes out with such beautiful clarifying energy.
Just because something is clear though, does not mean it is easy.
