Capricorn Full Moon: How Far Have You Come?

This is not a comfortable lunation! The moon has signs it thrives in, and ones it does not - Capricorn is the latter. Consider this a reality check. Realisations will land, as the Full Moon brings an ending to a cycle or a story in your life.
Connected to the New Moon we had back in January, have a think back to where you were and what intentions you set then. What has happened since then; what has come to form, and what hasn’t?
Capricorn thrives through well implemented strategy, it’s responsible by nature. So the light will be shining down on the structures and discipline you have in your life, especially any put in place over the last 6 months.
Capricorn desires a mature and logical response to any heaviness that may arise. Whilst the sun is in Cancer, the moons ruler. That sun is the reason the Moon is illuminated brightly in the night sky, so although Capricorn would prefer a matter of fact approach, the emotional field is still coming in strong. There are the factual details to consider, and then the question of how you feel about it all.
Are you measuring your worth with the same scale of what you have achieved? This is not a valid comparison, as your value should never be based on your productivity. You are innately valuable, and if this is not something that you feel is true, this is where you need to start digging - deep into the who’s, what’s and why’s.
Ask yourself, who am I trying to prove myself to? Am I trying to live up to anyones expectations but my own? What inherited beliefs are running rent free in the background? Because it is time to evict! Clear that space and free up your capacity to start building what is truly aligned and meant for you.
Structure and commitment are wonderful, and necessary. We need them to get things done. But if you have been forcing yourself to do out of responsibility or because you think you should then your ability to achieve is limited. You will be energetically draining yourself, and that will always end up seeping through to the physical. And that is not to say that your souls desires will equate to not having to do things you don’t like, it means you’ll have more drive to do them with your end goal in mind.
This Full Moon invites balance between the energy you devote to your outer world and the care you offer your inner one. The structures within your emotional landscape shape the foundations upon which everything else is built. Like the Tower card in Tarot, although it stands strong and tall, it crumbles when the storm comes because it didn’t have the support required from beneath.
When you tend to what is hidden, felt and often overlooked, you strengthen your ability to create, sustain, and grow in the world around you. When you align with your truth, and allow your values and desires to arise from a place of genuine heartfelt intention, something begins to weave itself back together. The missing thread is found. The circle is closed.
Release all that isn’t yours, so you can root your actions into what really matters. True authority and the best plan of action will always comes from the inside.
Closing that circle offers an energetic feedback loop that will continuously nourish and restore you as you climb the mountain to your dreams. It will remind you why you began when the going gets tough, and helps you continue placing one foot in front of the other when the path becomes steep, uncertain, or demanding. Discipline and motivation hit way less friction when you align to your soul.
So expect revelations to land around the things you have been building, and the emotional tides that have got you to where you are now. Breakthroughs and closures in regards to your potential, and how you may limit it. Welcome in any discomfort that is laid before you, reflect deeply on whatever is being highlighted; it is never for no reason, it is trying to steer you in the right direction.
Because if you are climbing that mountain for any other reason than it’s your true desire and purpose, that view is going to suck when you reach the top!
