As the natural world continues to slow down and shed layers, Scorpio season arrives with an invitation to do the same.
The eighth sign of the zodiac and arguably one of the most intense periods of the astrological year, it is here we move beneath the surface and enter the underworld. Willingly or under duress, the mysterious allure of this dark underbelly pulls you down.
The harder we resist, the more the shadows consume; bending you to their will, keeping you trapped. Instead surrender to the unknown, befriend your fears and embrace this dance.
Scorpio’s greatest teaching is that of death, and how life cannot exist without it. Where have you been feeling the initial twangs of decomposition and decay?
Dig as deep as you can, and unearth all that is buried so you can lay to rest that which haunts you. It is only through accepting the darkness you can transmute it to light.

There is a magnetic pulse in the darkness.
A seductive pull toward what we fear most.
Will you resist and be devoured…
or step forward and dance with death?
The Scorpion sees through the veil.
It communicates in hunches and gut feelings,
urging you to trust the language
your soul has always spoken.
Let the waters scorch and cleanse.
Offer your ghosts to the tide.
For in the burning surrender,
transformation takes root.
This is your seasonal rite of passage,
your call down into the depths.
To descend is to awaken, to release is to rise.
